July 13, 2015. A month ago, this handsome boy turned SEVEN and then finished his last week of first grade. He is growing up, off to second grade in the fall. He is smart, sweet and silly! He never hesitates to tell you that he loves you and flash you his best smile! Since he has grown so much we surprised him by upgrading him to a bigger bike. There was a bit of a learning curve at first, but now he is riding like a pro! Shaun was REALLY concentrating on his wish! Height: 51 inches (89th percentile).

July 28, 2014. After celebrating the 4th of July, we were officially on STAYCATION! It was a nice relaxing week and our big day trip this year was to take the boys to Story Land. On Monday we stayed close to home so that Dad could get the oil changed on his car. We all drove up to Laconia and hit the Captain's Cove on the way home. October 31, 2014. Another Halloween has come and gone! This year we did our Halloween portraits a few days before Trick or Treat. It made for a much more relaxed Trick or Treat! It was cold but at least it wasn't raining like last year! We made our rounds and then came home to relax and eat some candy! Soul Taker without the hood! February 18, 2015. With David's basketball tournament all weekend long we celebrated Valentine's Day on Monday. Monday is one of the few days during the week when we're not running around so it's a good night for us to have our annual "Fancy Dinner"! May 14, 2015. Through pure coincidence, Evan celebrated his birthday in Florida during our recent trip to Disney and Universal Studios! What a special way to turn FIVE! July 5, 2015. Every year we celebrate the fourth with our friends! This year we got to celebrate in their new home, which came about after the last we had our last year cookout. We didn't know it at the time but it was the last event we would have at their old home. Ready to celebrate the 4th! The first picture with the entire clan! June 18, 2015. Schools Out for Summer! On Monday my very last baby "graduated" from preschool! There isn't a graduation ceremony at their school but they did have a party and a nice little celebration that included a certificate! He is beyond excited to be moving onto Kindergarten in the fall! Sunday, March 4, 2012. Roasted Sweet Pepper Turkey Chili With Beer and Chocolate. 1 lb ground turkey. Approx 20-24 small baby sweet peppers (1 bag). 2 cans diced tomatoes. 1 onion, roughly chopped. 1 can kidney or black beans, drained. 8 ounces of a dark beer. 2 tsps instant coffee. 4 oz dark chocolate. 1 packet chili seasoning. 4 tsp dried oregano (mexican if you got it). 4 garlic cloves,peeled and chopped roughly. 1 lime, sliced in half. 4 tsp garlic powder.
