Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Nothing is ever easy. Nothing is black and white. Everything is just as easy as calling it what it is: messy, difficult, wonderful, complicated, beautiful, easy and hard and everything all at once. In the end we are all just people, all learning and changing in the same time wave. A flow of atoms encountering others in a vast endless space and wondering what the **** it's all for. I personally haven't come up with any compelling answers yet. You? Sunday, January 10, 2016. I gue...

Hobo For Hire: December 2010

http://brickhobo.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 31, 2010. The End of the Year. Is here. The future still looks dreary and dim, but at least 2010 is over. right? Yeah so here's some stuff I did this year:. I got a new bike! It's great - it's the first bike I've ever picked out for myself, and I am so glad I did. It's cute, it's stylish, it's comfortable, and it suits my style of bike-riding perfectly. That is, it's good for leisurely riding! And probably some other stuff that I'm forgetting. My winter garden is trudging along with ...

Hobo For Hire: November 2009

http://brickhobo.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 2, 2009. The air smells fresh. As the sun passes under the thin blanket of clouds, you can feel its warmth, just barely, through your jeans. A breeze lifts branches above your head, shifting and stirring leaves, and you imagine a swirling eddy, rough sandpaper on a snare drum, the whisking of cream. You can feel the moisture thickening the air. A distant rumble on the horizon. Clouds are broadening overhead, impregnated with potential. Their bare feet giggle across the hard-packed earth.

Hobo For Hire: sun god abandoned?

http://brickhobo.blogspot.com/2012/11/sun-god-abandoned.html

Thursday, November 15, 2012. I am an optimist. I really am. It's funny to me when people say that to me, because I'd never automatically self-describe as an optimist. But I do, generally, try to look at the world with a glass-half-full attitude. My life is busy and cluttered. My physical space reflects my internal state. Garbage everywhere. Disposable containers. An inability to exert enough energy to even get the stuff off the carpet to vacuum underneath it. It's sad, in here and out. I sleep a lot.
