Trip to South Africa and London. Friday, July 18, 2008. After seeing the leopards, I didn't think it could get any better.but it did. As we watched them, they didn't seem bothered by us. Wayne told us that they had just eaten and were very content. (Thank goodness! They are really beautiful animals and one can only appreciate the power and size being so close to them. Trip to South Africa and London. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Monday, June 30th-We arrive at Elephant Plains. Check out: http:/ www.elephantplains.co.za/. To get a view of the place. We arrive at 2 pm to the game lodge. We are immediately taken to our rooms, which are rondavels. We have lunch and at 3:30 pm go on our first evening game drive. We were in an open land rover (check pics on website.)My expectations were low because it was the first drive and I was sure we wouldn't see much.

Trip to South Africa and London. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. It's Wed, June 25th! I can't believe that we are leaving today. I have been awake since 4 am! It's a mixture of excitement, apprehension and a bit of stress. The stress part has to do with making sure everything is ok with the cats, house, etc. There is so much to remember when you travel. I wish I had family close by to check on everything. Our flight is at 5:20 pm. The taxi will pick us up at 2:30 pm., so why am I awake so early?

Trip to South Africa and London. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Well, unfortunately I didn't have time to write in the blog. But, here is a summary of my amazing and incredible trip. Thurs, June 26th-We arrived in London and spent the day there.we got a day room at the hotel so we could rest and recover. We left for South Africa on Thursday night.
