About Us | Bridges to Housing

Housing for the homeless, one family at a time. Through generous donations and grants we received this year we have been able to successfully place over 40 families in housing since January 2013. In addition to many private donations, the real estate community has been extremely supportive. Sutter Yuba Association of Realtors. As well as individual brokers and their offices have provided financial assistance. We partner with The Salvation Army. We are supported entirely by donations and grants.

We help negotiate deposits with landlords and provide partial deposits to qualified applicants. We refer clients to Hands of Hope Mentor Training program and other community service programs. Hands of Hope Center. Yuba City, CA. 95991. Bridges to Housing is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporation (Federal tax ID: 83-0490654). We are independent of any specific religious group.

Housing for the homeless, one family at a time. Volunteers are an integral part of our vision and success and we welcome people from all walks of life – regardless of faith, culture, and beliefs. We are actively seeking volunteers. Tasks we need help with include assisting with client interviews, verifying information, following up with funded clients, helping in the office, and fundraising. Volunteers are asked to serve three hours per week. You can print out our Volunteer Application.
