Our Aussie Travels with Two Dogs. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. We did a meagre 291 km's today to Lightning Ridge. Our Aussie Travels with Two Dogs. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Yesterday morning we left Longreach and headed 27km's down the road to Ilfracombe. Here they have a mile of history - which is a mile of old machinery, vehicles and stuff lined up on the side of the highway. They also have a cottage set up as it was 110 years ago, in the pioneer days. The family that lived in this house raised 11 kids in it - and boy was it tiny! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We have moved on from Emerald - but I'll talk about that later. we finally have good reception, so I thought it was about time I updated! In total we spent 25 days in Emerald.
