Friday, August 15, 2008. Now I'm sick. GREAT! Makenna is totally a different baby today. Still comfort nursing and not sleeping very well but she has her days and nights mixed up. She still every once in awhile cries out for no reason in this sad little cry but that only lasts a few seconds and its gone. She is smiling and cooing (which she just started while she was sick) and playing in her bouncy seat right now. Makenna is calling, I guess 15 minutes in the seat was a good start. Now Im sick. GREAT!

Thursday, August 14, 2008. Tonight I got some gas drops to see if that would help. We got home and she was dead asleep in her carseat so I figured I would leave her and she would wake up soon and eat. NOPE! She stayed asleep almost five hours, I even took photos of Carston next to the carseat, which are adorable by the way! After she woke up, gas again and then GREEN poop and thats a big red flag for too much foremilk. So there you have it, breastfeeding gave her gas. LOL! I hope her little gas pains go ...

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. We've settled in more. We've gotten most of the boxes unpacked or moved to storage. We ended up getting a storage unit - as much as we threw things out and took truckloads to D.I., we still have too much stuff! We're still looking for a dining room set and a new couch. We thought we wanted a couch with recliners built in, but now DH thinks that's too many hiding places for scorpions. So we're making do with half of our huge sectional. Life calls, so I better get up and get doing.

Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Low-Carb, Day Three. I'm halfway through day three, and let me tell you. It's not easy! OMG I want something starchy SO BAD right now. TV commercials don't help, so I'm trying to watch movies instead. Young Guns II at the moment. :). I'm being good, I'm eating deviled eggs and drinking Crystal Light. DH has a recipe for almond pancakes that are quite tasty and help with the sweet cravings. I'll probably have some fruit later as well. I WILL DO THIS! Sunday, January 10, 2010.
