No blogging for me that day! And then on Sunday, Father's Day it was my birthday and a great day it was, too!

Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Whenever I travel to and from the USA there is a kind of 'disconnect' that happens to me as I acclimatize myself to the foreign/familiar surroundings! And Wheel of Fortune. Then it's on to MSNBC's political programs which are rather to the left of Center! He added in comments first ...

Thursday, March 26, 2015. A New Toy for The Broad. As part of my regimen for staving off the fall into dementia, I quite regularly challenge my ability to cope with new techie challenges. In fact I find it quite a challenge just keeping up-to-date with all the new gadgets and challenges on offer! I once o...

Stanmer and Around: Waterhall tadpoles
http://stanmer365.blogspot.com/2012/04/waterhall-tadpoles.html
I delight in walking Fern, my English Springer Spaniel, through the woods and fields around Stanmer and over the South Downs. Saturday, 14 April 2012. The spawn in the Waterhall dew pond has hatched and there are dozens of tadpoles swimming around. They don't stay still long enough to get a photo that isn't blurred. Stanmer and Around: Reminder of 1987
http://stanmer365.blogspot.com/2012/04/reminder-of-1987.html
I delight in walking Fern, my English Springer Spaniel, through the woods and fields around Stanmer and over the South Downs. Tuesday, 17 April 2012. Back in October 1987 a "hurricane" whipped through south-east England and many trees in Stanmer woods were uprooted. To this day there are humps like this one which are where the root patterns of the trees were pulled out of the ground. Many of them (again, like this one) still have the remains of the trunk jutting out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I delight in walking Fern, my English Springer Spaniel, through the woods and fields around Stanmer and over the South Downs. Tuesday, 24 April 2012. The weather has been so gloomy that I have had to resort to a picture taken two years ago. This is what the tree in the garden will look like as soon as we get a blue sky! 24 April 2012 at 18:12. Weird I had to click on the place saver to open the picture. 25 April 2012 at 10:41. Strange; it comes up alright for me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Stanmer and Around: St Bartholomew's church
http://stanmer365.blogspot.com/2012/04/st-bartholomews-church.html
I delight in walking Fern, my English Springer Spaniel, through the woods and fields around Stanmer and over the South Downs. Wednesday, 11 April 2012. Seen from Albion Hill, St Bartholomew's church certainly stands tall - as it should. The cross makes it taller than Westminster Abbey and it has the highest nave of any parish church in Britain. It was supposedly built to the measurements of Noah's ark. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You see, I'd like to share my life with you. Places where I've been.
