Monday, March 23, 2009. Trees gone in Peasemore. It's been a year since anyone posted on this blog it was started by me in July 2006, so thought I would get it going again,. Does anyone know why these trees have been cut down in Peasemore? I was shocked when travelling on the bus last week. Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Well what a peaceful day we had in the village, snowing at 8am, freezing cold, NO DIY. I never heard one grass cutter, hedge trimmer or one hammer! Monday, March 19, 2007. Snow in February 2007.

Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Just a quick post, Does anyone else get the feeling that brightwalton is feeling a little, well, dead? C'mon people, lets liven the place up a bit! Posted by Benjamin Collins. Hey, I'm trying to find a village to move to. What's it like living in brightwalton? I have visited but the pictures look cute. The last bus back from Newbury is 6pm so after that its a Taxi, another £20. If you want a loaf of bread or a packet of cigarettes its 4 miles to the nearest shop.
