Saturday, December 13, 2014. Shortly after school started we had another birthday to celebrate! He got to pick what he wanted for breakfast. His choices were Fruit Loops, sausage and watermelon. The breakfast of champions. :) The funny thing is that just the other day (3 months later) he asked me if I remembered having sausage on his birthday. I'm glad that I let him choose because the fact that he remembers must mean it was important to him. The boys loved "racing" down these bumpy slides. We had a fun ...

Wednesday, August 13, 2014. 4th of July Fun. I was so glad that Tristan was home for the 4th of July again this year. He actually flew in a day earlier than he was supposed to, so we got an extra day of celebrating in with him! This purple dragon was really the one that Carter was interested in. Every night when they deflated it, he would get all concerned and be so relieved when it was up and going again in the morning. Me and the boys. We thought the show was great (but we aren't hard to please at all)!

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. We started off the month of November blessing Ashton. We were glad to share the day with Rich and Allisha who were blessing Cody as well. Our friend, Christie Marlatt (who did our family pictures last year) was there and she was nice enough to snap a few pictures for us with her camera. Ashton was about a month and a half old in this picture. My mom and dad with the boys. Poor lighting, but here's an "awake picture" from later in the day. When Tristan is gone the boys get creat...

Saturday, March 29, 2014. Carter with his ball ornament from his second Christmas. Ethan and Carter finding the perfect spot. Carter seemed to think that the ornaments were toys (Ethan was guilty of that, too). So they got a lot of playing with this year.most of them survived to see another Christmas! Our elf was busy getting into all sorts of fun places this year. I didn't take many pics, but Tristan had lots of good ideas this year. The truck finally made it to our house! A better view of the truck.

Saturday, February 7, 2015. This little boy is such a JOY to have in our family. He is busy, busy, busy and always into trouble (the good kind, of course). He usually smiling (mischieviously), giggling or trying to copy what his brothers are doing. He started walking at 9 months old- I'm sure just so he could keep up with everything! Now, if only I could keep up with him! But truly, truly, I just love this sweet little face so much. I'm so grateful for him. Things to know about Ashton at 1-year-old:.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Wrapping Up Birthday Celebrations in Long Beach, WA. Tristan and I got in a few games of pool while the boys played air hockey with Papa. Saturday morning we headed into town to walk through a few shops and make a trip to play in the arcade. Grandma and Papa treated the boys to actually playing the video games! Carter had fun with this version of "Whack-a-Mole". Ashton had so much fun running around on the beach. He loved having no limits! We found this fish skull. Yuck. Ethan s...

Bernard's Blog: Ashton's 1st Birthday
http://tristanandjodibernard.blogspot.com/2015/02/ashtons-1st-birthday.html
Saturday, February 7, 2015. So, all three of our boys' birthdays fall within a month-and-a half. It's a little crazy. So a few days after celebrating Carter's birthday we dove in to celebrating Ashton's. Tristan still wasn't home so we decided to take a trip up to the zoo. My dad came along to help me wrangle all three boys and he got this monkey for Ashton on our way in to see the animals. My big birthday boy! My kids have always been fans of the aquarium exhibits, and Ashton is no exception! We enjoyed...

Bernard's Blog: Carter at 3 Years Old

Sunday, December 14, 2014. Carter at 3 Years Old. In the sweetest voice. It's hard to resist! Carter is definitely more of a free-spirit and an adventurous kid. From food to playtime, if it's new or different, he's all about it! At the same time, Carter has a tender heart. He's the first to give up a toy or a sticker if one of his brother wants it. It's really very sweet how willing he is to give up something to make them happy (most of the time). Here are some things to know about Carter at age 3:.
