Home, home on the net. Keeping our family near and far close. Our home on the net. Friday, March 19, 2010. Not the most creative title but I am in that one week to move limbo where I've stopped etaing fruits and veggies, cut out vacuuming and have packed my toiletries. Oops. Just an update - we move March 27th and I've lost the camera so there won't be much posting until we are settled. Thank you to all for your support while I run around like a headless chicken. Much appreciated! Confessions of a Knife.

Home, home on the net. Keeping our family near and far close. Our home on the net. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. For the longest time I've wanted to be a wwoofer - willing worker on organic farm - and the last two weeks I've been lucky enough to head up to Mariposa farms with Emily and Tarek to help harvest. The hours in the fresh sunny air with the pigs and chickens, geese, horses cows and veggies made me so relaxed and happy. Lovely. Miraculous. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Home, home on the net. Keeping our family near and far close. Our home on the net. Friday, November 25, 2011. This is Ws favourite right now. We love it because, well, chicken! Also though, the child narrator is not sugary but curious, jealous and sometimes fierce; she threatens the chicken on one occasion just like real kids do. The pictures are gorgeous and bright, some full of detail. Silly chicken has plot twists, sadness and joy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Snow day - best day ever!

The park was awesomely full of kids and she played and climbed and Wes and I chatted under a tree, drinking coffee. I wouldn't have planned to go all the way downtown to a park - but it was wonderful. Comforting to be back in old stomping grounds, doing something free and relaxing. Look, a monster! This is a good thing around here. Hiding from the monster.
