Our Backpacking Adventure through Asia Pacific. Our Actual Base Camp: La Luna Hosteria. We have been relatively lucky with weather in our travels… up until Bariloche. The best day of the seven scheduled for Bariloche and the outdoors has been the date of our arrival on Monday. The others have been filled with downpours similar to what we experience in the great northwest, severe wind gusts that push us through Mitre Street, and lots of unexpected snow. The art of cooking amongst the smoke of the many fires was enjoyable, but the act of dining aside the kitchen at the table large enough for thirty guests was equally impressive.
