Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Long Time No See. Yes, this is the same little girl that came into our lives six months ago. She has grown so much, and I cannot believe how time flashes away. I am sorry that we haven't had a chance to post and update the site. Life happens and we find ourselves working, spending time with our daughter, hanging out with our church family, sleeping, and going back to work. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Last night was a good night. We experienced what we seem to remember is called sleep last night. Avery, slept for two different times for three hours plus. And there was much rejoicing. Yay! Here is a video that my mom took as they were checking out Avery right after her birth on Friday. My baby girl does not like to be naked. Good girl. Everyday I see traits of Lauren and I and traits in Avery that are completely unique and 100% Avery. Then there are times that she takes her bubble mountain bath and gives herself a bubble goatee. Monday, August 24, 2015. Mom and I headed to Montmartre first thing in the morning on our last day in Paris. We—meaning I—had planned for us to climb the steps to the top but thought differently when we were standing at the bottom. Instead, we took the funicular which cost under 2 euros and saved us both a lot of panting.
