Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Then he falls ill with an infection, that almost anyone can get and. Is what was so unkind to his already fragile body and compromised immune system and in the end took him from this earth. This was part of his memorial which I was so proud to have written. Monday, March 16, 2009. My grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's. Lymphoma. It's AMAZING how everyone in the family is helping with every detail to make sure my grandparents are taken care of. You can look at my grandmothers face and see every emotion she is holding in. She is holding up okay. She's trying to be strong for everyone. He is at home and receiving. Oral chemo. I don't want to get into too much as this is so hard on everyone in my family.
