She soon joined the firm of Johnson and Reily, a real estate law firm. It was there that mommy met Daddy. He worked in the same building, and they met after bumping into each other in the hallway (Literally). Mommy knew right away that he was "The one". They were married in the summer of 2001. Mommy plans on returning to her career once I enter the first grade. Until then, she says she wants to experience every milestone with me. My Daddy is the best!

Katie was due to be born on April 1st. I had a feeling that she would arrive early, but I had no idea just how early it would be! Two days later, on March 19th, Katie's came home with us. She seemed to be very comfortable with her surroundings. We had, what seemed like, an endless parade of visitors. Not only was Katie showered with gifts, she was showered with love. Katie Elizabeth is currently 23 inches tall. She weighs 11 pounds 3 inches. Her favorite toy is a stuffed beagle.

May 1, 2008. I was in a much better mood today. Last week I started getting a bit fussy. The doctor said I had something called excema. Mommy gave me some cream and it made it much better. So, today was one of my best yet! Check back soon, and I'll give you more updates. April 19, 2008. I had my first real play date today! April 4, 2008.
