That was a personal victory that required no medal! Overall, she had an AWESOME first meet. Don't you just love fall and all the activities that go along with it? I miss being able to take off for college football games on Saturdays, but NOTHING is as great as rooting your kids on to their own victories! Long time no post.

The day before Thanksgiving, my mom and I took the girls to see the Rockettes at the Fabulous Fox. Our friends Julia, Laurel, and Rebecca Huster joined us as well. Before the show we ate at Mary Mac's which was amazing. I can't believe I had never gone there before. I highly recommend the tomato pie. YUM!

It was really neat doing the race in the same park we were staying in - part of the run went past the RV site - were Kate an Dean waited to watch cheer me on. The birds in this picture had moments prior been on the beach. Kate got within a few feet of them before they took off. Slow me couldn't get to camera quick enough. Still a great pic.
