Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Jakes First Tee-Ball Game! Jake's First Tee-Ball game was tonight at Snowden Grove park. It was such a blast! Before I was a Momma, I never would have appreciated how cute and how funny watching 3 &4 yr. olds playing Tee-ball could be :) Those little cutie pies had the best time out there chasing the ball around, running straight to 3rd base, and kicking dirt! The first game was so much fun. We are hoping the rest will be too! How can you resist that grin? Daddy and 'Mini me'!

His first real practice was Monday, and he did pretty good. We got him a set to practice at home, but it's been so windy it's hard to keep the ball on the tee. Friday, May 30, 2014. As most of you know, especially if you follow us on Facebook, we traveled to Orlando a few weeks ago and had a big time at Disney World and Legoland. Our previous trip to Disney was in 2008. When Kelsey and Roland were about the ages that Amelia and Peyton are now. We've been talking about going back for a long time, and finally made the decision last Fall to go ahead and plan it. We stayed at the Blue Heron Beach Resort in Orlando. We rented through a listing we found on VRBO.

Monday, July 28, 2014. Well, it had to happen eventually. It just happened way too quickly. Bev and I have now officially been parents for double digit years. How did I get this old? So I grilled us up some hamburgers on her birthday and we lit up her birthday candle on some monkey bread. That following weekend, Cadence came over for a sleepover. Monday, September 22, 2014. As we've done the last few years, we rented a big slide from Desoto Bounce. This one had two slides on it and was much easier to get up and down than the ones we've rented the last couple of years.
