Friday, August 28, 2009. A sneak peek into our week. Zeke got his first time-out for biting Ellie. Surprisingly, when I (stupidly) asked him, "Do you need a time-out? He gave me the right answer. "Yeah", he replied and then ran to the bathroom and put himself on the closed toilet. Roxy has been great about practicing her violin this week. Such lovely kids we have, Jake. Posted by The Mortensen Clan. WE HAVE A FIVE YEAR OLD! We had a family party for Avery Sunday night, she ate lots of cake and she opened lots of presents. It was a happy day! Sunday, October 12, 2008. Taraka and I took the kids to Green bluff. We picked out pumpkins, ate warm pumpkin donuts, and fresh Carmel apples. I think eating the yummy treats was my favorite part. Thursday, September 25, 2008. I can't believe that my baby went from this. To this in one year! He started out 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 21 inches long, five days late. But worth the wait. I didn't know that he would love me so much and that I would love him so much more. How could I have known last September 25th that little Zeke would be running around and saying "Mama" and giving me big hugs and kisses, or throwing a ball, or laughing at his sisters. You might be growing, but you'll always be my baby.
