Local Reception patterns I have experienced. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO HEAR. Regular Ducting Conditions along the South East coast. GREEN indicates permanent daily troposcatter, up to 340 km. Tuesday, November 8, 2016. DX season 2016/17 underway. On Sunday, November 6, I received my first E-skip of the summer 2016/2017 season. Not sure that I've had the season start this early - and it's still 3 weeks until Summer actually starts. Hopefully, a sign of a bumper season to come, last year was terrible. 240 - 3.05pm. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. With a cool change coming through Adelaide Sunday afternoon, dropping temperatures from 39 degrees to a more comfortable mid-20's, the evening saw tropo coming in. First started listening from 7pm, with Western Victoria and Hamilton strong. Richmond/Tweed (Northern NSW) made an appearance towards the end, coming in just before Queensland faded out. They lasted 20 minutes.
