Difficult if not impossible to portage but shooting is easy (anywhere) even in high water. In very high water check the road bridge immediately below to ensure that there is enough height to get under it. Malmesbury factory weir (cowbridge weir). Boulder dam just downstream of B4042. Small weir near Great Somerford.
