We were introduced to Steve and Helen by Matt and Karen aboard S/V Where II. In Bequia in the Caribbean. We crossed paths many times. Beach House had a little ‘dock-time’ at Jolly Harbour Marina in Antigua while her crew went to Toronto. Sunday, November 4, 2012. Last week a modest swell. Curled around the north end of Tyrrel Bay. And the surf was. Higher and louder than usual. Remnants of Hurricane Sandy. She never threatened the Eastern Caribbean,. But the storm was big enough to affect us here in a small way. We're back in Carriacou after a lovely summer in Canada. The Captain is another year older and I'm not. We're reacquainting ourselves with the slower pace of life here,. Of sunblock and bug spray. The cottage we rented last fall.

Rotary Dragon Boat Festival 2015
Rotary's annual Dragon Boat Festival (DBF) is organised by the Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast. It is intended to offer fun while raising funds for charity. The Festival is held at Baltic Wharf in the Bristol City Harbourside between the Cottage Inn and the Bristol Marina. Each year a headline charity is chosen which receives most of the monies raised. The 14th DBF will be held on Sunday the 7th June 2015 and the Headline Charity is the " Stoke. Other Rotary Charities are supported in UK and Overseas.
