I graduated May 6, (on Nurse's Day), from the University of Utah with my Bachelor's degree! It was an amazing day. I have never felt so proud and accomplished. But as I was on my way home, I turned to Trav and said "so that was it? These girls made me laugh, relax, and turn things in on time :). I could not have done it without my amazing family!

A few months ago, my good classmate Kylee, suggested we all go on a cruise after finals. She was so great and coordinated it all, which wasn't easy with so many people. Out of the 64 people in the nursing program at the U, 20 of us ended up going. It was loads of fun! I am so glad I went. I made great friends and great memories. We giggled, sang, and danced all week long.

After telling my Mom a friend has passed away, "her name was Chelsie, she was at my bridal shower". Her response reminded me of what a remarkable girl she is. "The beautiful runner, with the big pretty smile, who sat next to Liz? Yes My mom does not remember people, let alone names. But Chelsie had a gift of leaving an impression on anyone she met. Monday, November 29, 2010. We were able to start moving things into the house on Friday. It is so unreal to think I am lucky enough to live in such a great house. I am so grateful, I can't wait! Thursday, November 18, 2010. And on top of that I was just barely told I have to have my $3050 bond purchased with the bank before we get our occupancy on the house. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. The railings were put in and stained today. Oh yes and the finish carpenters put real stairs in, so now we can walk up them with ease and I don't have to carry the girls up and down anymore. I love the finish carpenters for all the beautiful work they are doing. We were pleasantly surprised to see the detail they were putting into the window seals. Sunday, August 22, 2010. And the rain comes again. We had quite the monsoon that once again flooded my house. This time was worse than the last. Nowhere was dry the entire place was soaked and sitting in 1-2 inches of water. Not loving the rain right now. When we came to see the house today we were unpleasantly surprised to see that someone had graffiti-ed our house. Needless to say I was pretty upset. People can be such jerks sometimes. Silver spray paint on the outside of the house and the window.
