The Teapot Tearoom and Gardens. Enjoy a delicious home made cream tea in our tearoom or garden. The kitchen and tearoom is in a converted nags stable and has enough seating in the cosy tearoom for 20 people. There is outside seating in the garden for approximately 50 people. Britchcombe Farm is situated on the B4507 between Ashbury and Wantage. We are 1 mile away from the village of Uffington and 1/4 mile away from beautiful Lambourn Chalk Downs and historic Ridgeway path. The famous White Horse Hill is just above the farm.

Unlike a lot of camp sites, camp fires are allowed on the farm (under certain conditions). Someone from the farm will drive around the fields (usually in a Land Rover) delivering wood blocks each day. If you wish to have a fire, just wave at them and they will come to you. The charge is £5 per bag and we are happy to supply kindling and give advice. Only wood provided by the camp site is allowed to be used. Any person cutting trees or equipped to cut trees will be expelled from the farm with no refund.

Monday, 31 August 2015. We made some moss graffiti on this miserable bank holiday Monday. All you need to do is blend together some moss with buttermilk to a think gloopy consistency, then paint it on to your outdoor surface, keeping it moist with a water spray until the moss grows.
