Britches Thinks Out Loud. A random posting of what God is doing in my life. Friday, March 14, 2008. How soon we forget. Why do we act as if He did? Monday, March 10, 2008. When I wrote that title I meant it as a statement as I am still here. After thinking about it for a minute, I realized that maybe there isn't anyone left out there as I haven't written in so long. Anyway…. I have been suffering with a cold for the last couple of weeks and the kids have had fevers at different times. How soon we forget.

Next generation of favorite jeans. Thursday, July 19, 2012. What do you do when a batch of jam or jelly doesn't set? Used to be that I would try to figure out what went wrong and try to correct it next time. Only to end up creating solid chunks of sweetened fruit. Now, I've decided it just happens sometimes and use the unset jelly/jam as pancake or waffle syrup. It's cheaper than pure maple and better for us than store bought imitation maple syrups.
