Brit in Brooklyn | Photographing the Borough
The Rolling (Landfill) Hills of Southern Brooklyn. A Brooklyn landscape that resembled my old Suffolk home more than anywhere else I’ve seen this side of the pond and it used to be a huge garbage landfill site. Motorcyclist rides through flooded Red Hook. What little water remained in Red Hook yesterday after Hurricane Irene was put to use by this chap. This was his third pass. This roof overlooking the Gowanus Canal made a great location to photograph a yoga-teacher friend. From the archive: 5Pointz.
