Friday, February 17, 2012. Why are sleeping baby pictures so cute? After fighting sleep all morning and not being happy if I put him down anywhere, Parker finally fell asleep with his head in my lap, and then actually stayed asleep when I stood up. Yeah! Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Oh the little joys of being a mom :) I sure love my little snuggle bug! Friday, February 3, 2012. I officially quit my job 2 days ago, so we have decided that the timing is now right to announce our big news. Here is a clue.

Thursday, January 19, 2012. Today we are experiencing a bit of winter weather here in California. I had to take Bella out for a walk and therefor Parker needed to be dressed appropriately. Bustin' out so he can enjoy some more swing time. Or should I say sleep time :). No no you are having winter weather. I think I should come visit. I cant handle any more -30. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. This event inspired this post. I'm so glad that Bella is good with Parker and has accepted him as part of the family. I hope she'll feel the same way when he learns to pull her hair. Bella's a good babysitter. She doesn't take her eye off Parker. Except to pose for the camera. :). Sunday, January 8, 2012. This has been my favorite dad moment so far. He just bit me! Me: He has no teeth! Wait for it. Parker's little nail had rubbed Sean's arm and Sean thought he had bit him! I could not stop laughing. Other fun dad moments:. Sean trying to put Parker to sleep and instead falling asleep himself while Parker is wide awake but enjoying snuggle time with Dad. Reading the Economist with Dad while mom gets some much needed shut eye. Can you feel the wind? Late night study adventures.

Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Before baby comes I have started to become very aware of certain habits that we may need to change. Here are some examples. 1 Calling Bella "bumbum" or "stinker bum" as terms of endearment. I can just picture baby's first word being "bumbum" or him starting school some day and calling kids "stinker bum" and thinking it is an ok thing to call people. 2 Leaving the door open when using the bathroom.
