Sunday, September 16, 2012. Ahh my chickens. I have lost many in the past year. One to a stray dog that stopped unexpectedly at our house for a snack! One to a disease which was scary. One died of old age and then the two that were horrifically woken up in the middle of the night by a mean old bear, grabbed from their slumbering bedposts and gobbled up in the woods right by the side of our house! I have hatched a couple where one had to have a name change from Daffodil to Napoleon! Links to this post.

Sunday, July 24, 2011. Who is the guilty party? So my cute little chicks that we raised from hand are now looking like real chickens. In another 2 months we should see our first eggs. We cannot wait. The kids have already drawn straws to see who gets the first one for breakfast! My youngest is already planning his strategy for how much we can sell them for and what to spend the dosh on! I waited incase I had misheard and there it was again. Too much love maybe? Watch this space for the conclusion!

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Just watched the movie "The Help" and now I have the urge to write again yippee! That really is a good movie to watch and the book is great too if anyone is in the market for a little down time. Today felt like Spring! The sun was pouring down, the sky was blue with a couple of fluffy white ones floating around in it. The ground is still covered with snow however there are patches and I mean minuscule. Patches of dirt around! Best if all we went to see "The Blue Man Group.".

Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Wow where do i start? I have done zilcho writing for many many months.the reason why i do not know? Here is a new beginning:. Write a blog more regularly. Pick up my needles and knit and even more important complete something! Shall i keep the rooster or not? Can i really squeeze an indoor soccer team into our life? Try something new.maybe can some salsa? Learn to say no more often.it makes life much easier. Take some down time. Well lets see if i can really do this!
