Intro to British Journalism class: Week 2 -- a busy time
http://britishjournalism09.blogspot.com/2009/07/week-2-busy-time.html
Intro to British Journalism class. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Week 2 - a busy time. Visits to the Press Complaints Commission and with media lawyer Mark Stephens Monday were pretty spread out but it gave us a good day of the regulations that often inhibit the British press. Monday night, some students in the class went to see "Wicked" while I tagged along to a performance of "Blood Brothers." Both were reportedly wonderful. Posted by Intro to British Journalism class. Intro to British Journalism class. Monday, July 20, 2009. Donna Stephens on a trip to Stratford. We bought tickets to three of the Shakespeare properties, so we toured the birthplace; New Place, which he lived in before he died, and Hall's Croft, his daughter's home. We also went through the Guild Church and Holy Trinity Cathedral, where he, his wife and daughter and son-in-law are buried. The churches here are amazing!
