Reading While Knitting: Happy Birthday
http://readingwhileknitting.blogspot.com/2011/03/happy-birthday.html
Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Saturday, March 05, 2011. Yesterday somebody turned 16 at my house. She's a treasure - always something interesting to say, funny, sharp as a tack, and doing that lovely "growing up in front of you" thing so I get to enjoy it. Considerate, no? Reading While Knitting: I may have a problem

Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Thursday, July 28, 2011. I may have a problem. My daughter was impressed with how little knitting I was bringing on a camping trip. . . until she realized it wasn't just the small red tote. The backpack is coming, too. I hope the lady I stood behind at the grocery store didn't mind me intently staring at her skirt. I was thinking, "That would look nice knitted up. . ." so I sketched it in Paint:. Posted by Stefaneener @ 6:01 PM. Wow- just how long were you standing in line? Ha It was a simple skirt. Im really drawn to this dress:. Links to this post:.

Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Sunday, July 30, 2006. The good, the bad, the only-in-this-house. I'm still in love with Cabaret. I may have to knit it again. Thing 4 is now barking along with Sandra Boynton's book Doggies. It's a family tradition! She waved byebye today and I swear she's talking. Thing 2 cut her eyelashes with scissors. I'm knitting new stuff. My camera still isn't fixed. Links to this post.

Reading While Knitting: May 2006
http://readingwhileknitting.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Monday, May 29, 2006. I don't know if it's seasonal or sweateral, or the root canal I had a week ago, but I've just been too blue to blog. I've taken this sweater front to. At least three times, and the Curse of the Yarn Over continues to plague me. For those of you who think I'm just being weirdly obsessive, look! I know I'm reasonably intelligent, and I know. And, dang it, I want.

Reading While Knitting: Castaway
http://readingwhileknitting.blogspot.com/2011/05/castaway.html
Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Sleeve Island, what a lonely place to be. So little left to do on this Cotton Sweater of Many Ends. And yet, picking it up to knit some more rounds of a sleeve feels a bit like running away from the Thing behind the door in a dream. My hands move slowly, and surely a sweater this size shouldn't weigh 25 pounds! The weight of resistance burdens every stitch.

Reading While Knitting: Double or Nothing
http://readingwhileknitting.blogspot.com/2011/07/double-or-nothing.html
Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Tuesday, July 05, 2011. We're supposed to be coming out of a heat wave here. While I know that many areas of the country suffer from much more extreme weather, I reiterate - we're not prepared for this. With neither thick walls nor artifically cooled air, these old Victorians (especially in rooms under eaves) are just hot. I can't stop working on this baby because I have finally (!

Reading While Knitting: December 2005
http://readingwhileknitting.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities. Thursday, December 29, 2005. I'm not even going to attempt to post a picture because today? I knit about four rows on Mittlet #2. At least I have one warm hand, unless a child steals it. The eldest is openly talking of making off with them when they're done; the third just took the finished one and wore it. Just before he threw a crust of bread. Maybe I'll finish the second mitt!

Saturday, August 19, 2006. BritKnit (bylt on knittyboard). 25 members so far! Fiber for the day:. Merino-silk blend from Louet. I finished a skein of this last night. It is heavenly! If you haven't tried merino-tussah silk (or Mertush as we called it in knitty chat), you need to. EASY to draft fine and even. Posted by Sarah @ 9:51 AM. And I'm thinking a quick link to luscious fiber every other day or so is a fun feature! Were working on it!
