Monday, March 9, 2015. This was National FROYO day. Carly was so excited. She asks pretty much everyday to go to the "ice cream store". Strangely enough we have been going pretty frequently lately. Monday, March 31, 2014. She loves pirates. We have a Dora movie called Pirate Adventure. While my mom was here, she found this pirate set and got it for Carly to go along with the movie. There's a scene where they open up their treasure chest (and Carly will open our ottoman during that part), and retrieve their pirate stuff. So my mom thought it would be fun to copy the movie. Monday, April 28, 2014. It was so fun to see my family this weekend. And of course Carly and Benson loved all the extra attention. My only mixed feelings stem from the fact that I'm used to being Carly's best friend and she absolutely adores Grandma and Grandpa, so it was hard for me to be only 2nd or 3rd best :( I guess that's how it goes when all your Grandmas and Grandpas are so fun! I love how our room is turning out so far. Fun fact: My make-up mirror on the dresser belonged to my Grandmother.).

Monday, December 8, 2014. Catch up Dec 2014. I'm thinking I'll be making a new years resolution about blogging a little more frequently. It'll probably be specific - like - every month. Monday, September 16, 2013. We went out to eat this weekend. Carly was very focused while she colored on her children's menu. After dinner, we did some shopping. Saturday, August 24, 2013. My computer has been acting up lately, so I haven't been able to do anything on this blog! A couple of weeks ago, some friends of ours bought an older home here in Fort Collins Mike and I went over to their house to see it and while we were there, they took this chandelier down to throw it away.I asked what they were going to do with it, and they were seriously were just going to put it in the dumpster! So, I took it home! The best part about it, is it was free!

Thursday, March 13, 2014. I am so excited because in 2 days I will be in my favorite place on earth.WASHINGTON! Of course, being able to see my daughter, granddaughter and son in law is what I am most excited about. It seems like I haven't seen them in forever. The other day, I was sitting in my dining room and I noticed this little vignette and it made me smile! Thursday, May 30, 2013. Bristyn is 19 years old now! We are so proud of her.she had an awesome Freshman year at Western State Colorado University. She made the Deans list for her grades, she worked in the cafeteria at the school and she made a ton of friends. She loves it in Gunnison, and she is only 20 minutes from snowboarding!
