I can't say that I'm back on for good but I thought it was time to give an update on our new "adventure", a whole 6 (ish) hours away from the GREAT state of AL (no.not an ounce of sarcasm there). We said so long to sweet home Alabama and headed on to the peachy state of Georgia, Savannah to be right on the money. Pretty cool place! Nothin' like sum crab cakes 'nd sum greyns! Insert Southern accent or it's just embarrassing).

How is that possible? Fortunately the Army knows this and gives us utility allowance. Saturday, February 8, 2014. A "true" German experience. Oh, the sweet, sweet sound of Bavaria. When someone thinks of Germany, they typically think of beer, castles, and sauerkraut. Friday, January 11, 2013. Just some Korea lovin'. It is still Fah-reezing- with a capital F here. I think our coldest temperatures these past two weeks was 0 F with a windchill of -9 F. GET ME OUT OF HERE, ha. We have had a little recent relief.these past 2 days and through the weekend (peaking out at 34 F) Wow, never thought I'd be relieved or even say that I think 34 F is WARM :o). The snowy mountains, those lumps are graves. The people aren't actually IN the mounds, but underneath. Us on the subway!

Tuesday, October 29, 2013. The Sandberg clan is doing well, finally starting to feel adjusted and living more like people versus traveling nomads. You really do start to appreciate the 'small' things in life.like not carrying groceries up and down hills back to your new apartment.on the third floor.
