While we were visiting our friends in Connecticut, we visited a U.S. Navy Base and went inside the USS Nautilus! It was the world’s first nuclear-powered submarine. It was also the first vessel to travel under the North Pole. There was a picture in the museum of the crew meeting Santa Claus at the North Pole! Very cramped quarters, as you might imagine! Dang, tuff spot.

We all gathered at Grandma L's house (did I post about that being finished? I'll have to check.) to celebrate. After dinner, Mollie opened her gifts. Her first gift was a Dora makeup set!
