There were no birds singing, no squirrels chattering. It was too cold, too barren. Autumn turns to winter every year, but today it seemed so brutally mean. How could everything be so beautiful and then crumble to dust? There was nothing billiant, nothing vibrant. Nothing that looked alive. And it made me want to weep. I make all things new.
