Tuesday, April 12, 2011. It is my dream to be a stay-at-home mom. Most of you probably know that two weeks before my maternity leave was up and I was going to quit my job, Colby's company went under and he found himself unemployed. So for now we are playing a little role reversal and Colby gets to be Mr. Mom. He is doing such an awesome job! I'll never be able to compete. Monday, July 12, 2010. So then in June, most of my family ran the Utah Valley Half Marathon. I didn't think I would ever do that, and I don't think I would do it again. Maybe some smaller runs. I mostly did it out of peer pressure. Good ole' peer pressure. Nothing bad came from peer pressure. I'm sucking in all the air I can. My sister Holly is in front of me. Sunday, October 3, 2010. I went up Wednesday by myself to set up camp due to some last minute work for my dad. Unfortunately, I forgot the lamps and flashlights that were in my dads car so I set up the tent by light of the truck. Here is a video I took while sitting under a tree. Friday, July 15, 2011. Before I quit my job, one of my coworkers asked me what I was going to do with all my free time. I imagined days filled with cooking awesome dinners, learning new hobbies, getting my house and family organized. Yeah right. What free time? Family walk at Tanner park. Abbie's favorite off leash dog park. The water was really high and there were signs posted about dogs drowning, so she didn't get to swim that much. Layla is all covered up and napping on me. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Today we spent the day at Yosemite. It is the first time that we have been here and it is one of the most beautiful places I've seen.
