Monday, February 2, 2009. 1 cup sour cream. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 4 tsp baking powder. 5 Tbl butter (room temperature). Approx 8 cups of powdered sugar. Approx 10 Tbl evaporated milk. Cream butter and crisco. Mix everything together until you get a good consistency. This recipe makes about 4 dozen cookies! So the frosting recipe is large so you have enough to frost every cookie! I now get why she won't eat store bought syrup. I know I won't! Just follow the directions on the box. Another tip: when making boxed pancakes, add some zest from a lemon and it will do wonders! Monday, May 3, 2010. It's been forever since I posted. I thought the best way to get going again was to get myself to put together a menu for the week. I love doing this because it forces me to do two things: use up parrishables, and grocery shop with a purpose. Menu for this week:.
