Sometimes I come here to think…. Camp Dispatches: Are you kidding me? June 16, 2008. Camp is still fun, but fun is boring to write about it. It is also not that important right now. I could have died two days ago. I keep thinking about what could have happened. What if we left 10 minutes later? Maybe then there would have been a car in front of us. Maybe this would have happened at a stoplight. Luckily, that didn’t happen, but it could have. I also have to take antibiotics which give me a nasty tummyache.

Sometimes I come here to think…. February 29, 2008. Music sounds different now. The lines don’t match up. Clothes rub against my skin in a new way. My hair is thicker. My wrists, thinner. I don’t think I’ve changed. But hasn’t everything else? The rooms in my world seem to have shrunk. Alice after the cake. I worry I won’t fit through the doors. I swim in chairs. My feet don’t reach the ground. I live in a cathedral. A small speck under an expansive sky. I don’t know how this happened. When will this end?
