Life- Smooth and Blubbery. Monday, January 2, 2017. FRESH as FRESH can be. It's a new year and a fresh start. I do have some resolutions and goals for this year, but I thought it would be fun and fitting to share those with you as the year goes on. I do plan on changing this blog up a bit this year, but I will have to get settled into our new place. That is right! One thing I want to be able to do this year though was inspired by non other than my favorite author, Mark Twain. Who doesnt love strawberries?

Life- Smooth and Blubbery. I love to travel, and I can't wait to make more of those dreams come true. I can't wait to return to Germany again where I served a mission for my church. I hope to be able to share many adventures and travels with you on this journey. Some other dreams include:. Travel the world- I think being a travel writer would be extraordinary. Back pack across Europe. Road Trip Route 66. Cliff Jumping- into water of course. Open up a Summer Writing Camp for kids- in my own home.

Life- Smooth and Blubbery. Life- Smooth and Blubbery. Mark Twain is by far one of my favorite authors. The book "Roughing It" would have to be my all time favorite by him. With that said, why wouldn't I title my blog after a quote from Mark Twain? It's too Smooth and Blubbery" is what Twain said regarding his thoughts on Dutch Poetry. As a fun surprise, the Wests came out for Lydia's birthday! Lydia was beyond words when Miyah showed up at our house! It was so great getting to celebrate Lydia's special day with such special friends! After some fun hangout time at the house and dinner, we took the girls to the mall to get a little bit more energy out!

Friday, February 14, 2014. Lydia's First Dance Recital. I just looked back at my previous posts and realized that this one was never published! Well, better late than never! This is from the beginning of December :). Lydia LOVES to dance and sing! It's one of my favorite things to watch her do! Fortunately, there is a gal in the other ward that teaches dance out of her home for a VERY reasonable price. Like, I can actually afford it and cannot rationally refuse it! It is the highlight of Lydia's week!

Sunday, July 14, 2013. So, this post will focus more on our last month in Galveston and getting ready to make the move. I had a small bucket list of things that I really wanted to do before we left our little island. Among that list was driving one of the surreys down Seawall. Gasp! We lived in Galveston for 4 years and had never driven one of the surreys! It's not that expensive and they're everywhere! I don't know how we just never did it! Lydia did too :). They had a lot of fun! And so did we :).

Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Match week, a 5k, a rodeo, and other news! As anticipated, these past several weeks have been incredible! All ranges of emotions were felt by all! We have had our feelings of disappointment, frustration, stress, depression, sadness and anxiety. But we have also had excitement, happiness, love, peace, pride and accomplishment! Sunday, December 7, 2008. I posted your card, if you want to be surprised, don't look at my blog! I used some random Christmas paper and Whisper White and Real Red cardstock. I combined the Party Hearty stamp set and the Big Bold Birthday stamp set. I used Real Red ink, Old Olive ink, Kiwi Kiss ink, and Summer Sun ink (for the candle flame).
