Steve Blanchard Online - Letter from Steve
http://www.steveblanchard.net/letter.htm
After all the years of airports, buses, terrible food, bad hotels, and grumpy actors, I realized the one constant was the audiences. Some cities across the USA, I’ve played 3 or 4 times in 3 or 4 different shows. And you know what? The people were always so kind, so appreciative, so jacked-up about the theatre. Because of the support from everyone everywhere, I’ve been lucky beyond belief. So have fun, and enjoy the site. Content 2000-2013 Steve Blanchard Online.

At the West End in Virginia, once again Wayne Duvall called to let him know of an audition for a revival of The Three Musketeers. On Broadway. After driving all night and waiting on an open call, Steve had five call-backs in six months, finally getting an understudy to Brent Spiner’s Arimus. The show closed after one week. Back to the road. More stops followed in DC’s Ford’s Theatre in Hot Mikado. A Jesus Christ Superstar. For almost three years. In 1992, while performing Chess. After two years of Camelot.
