A species which can be plentiful in limestone woodlands, so it was surprising that it didn’t occur in Brockadale. Perhaps it will spread from the small patch that there is at present. We also re-found. On the steep wooded slopes at the western end of the reserve. It is very thinly scattered, but over a fairly large area. Two new species found September 2015. Work started...

Brockadam - Photos Du Jour. Usually when people wake up to a snowy scene in the desert they run outside and immediately make a terrible looking snowman or finally have an excuse to drink hot chocolate. What do I do? Grab my camera and climb on top of the roof of course! But don't worry, those 2 inches of snow will break my fall!

Man Thinking

One Scholar's Idle Times. Friday, January 20, 2006. Last week I received a pamphlet in the mail from the Environmental Protection Agency. On the outside is the rustic scene of a grain farm reflecting off a placid lake below. The title of the pamphlet reads: CONSIDER THE SOURCE: An Interactive Guide to Protecting America’s Drinking Water. In the middle of the title is the unmistakable mantra of current U. S. nationalism: Protecting America. That’s easy: whoever owns it! Posted by Brock Adams at 1:23 PM.
