The Cossitt Family Association gives credit to Thomas Charles Cossitt for helping to found our association as it exists today. Thomas C. Cossitt was born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada on November 15, 1923. Cousin Thomas was the 6. Great grandson of Rene and Ruth Cossitt. His Cossitt lineage comes from François, the second son of Rene and Ruth. His great great grandfather was Germain Mott Cossitt, a founder of the Cossitt Bros. Agricultural Implement Factory. He was re-elected in 1974, 1979 and 1980.

A Brief History of the Brockville Briscoe. In October of 1915, with the help of Tom Storey (one of the directors of the Brockville Atlas Automobile Company. Specific production numbers are not known, but it is estimated that approximately 5,000 Brockville Briscoes were built over the life of the company, compared to approximately 50,000 in the US Briscoe plant. The End of An Era. Is car number 1022 (recall production numbers were roughly 1000 cars per year), with motor number 30730.
