Wednesday, May 28, 2014. We just returned from a super-fun week at the beach! We were gone 9 days, but I could have stayed for at least another week. ;). This is the 2nd year we have gone the week before Memorial Day and the 2nd year we had perfect weather. These two cuties were SO much fun! I loved these matching swimsuits that I ordered for them. I'm not sure how much longer I can pull this off, but they sure were cute in their blue seersucker suits. I love this little smile. This boy LOVES the ocean!

Monday, April 21, 2014. We had a great weekend celebrating Easter with friends and family! Friday, we hosted a little Easter playgroup/egg hunt for the mommas and kids in our a small group. We were missing a few, but had a fun morning with this cute group. She has asked me twice in the past week if Jackie can come spend the night with her. :). Easter morning.I love seeing these two in coordinating clothes! Our little fam before church. Josh's parents spent Easter with us this year. His body on the cross.

Friday, April 15, 2011. Brody and I love cake pops, so I thought he might enjoy making some with me. We had a great time in the kitchen together making these fun treats yesterday! All the ingredients…. My little helper mixing the cake. And tasting the batter. :). Chilled cake pop being dipped into blue melts. Decorating with sprinkles…. He couldn’t even wait until the coating had set! I think they turned out really cute! This is the recipe we used from Bakerella. 1 can frosting (I used cream cheese).

For some reason, over the past few days, I've been struggling a little with not seeing results. I know I've come a long way from where I was, but sometimes when I look in the mirror, I have a hard time seeing it. The scale shows I'm down 32 pounds. I've noticed I don't get winded quite as easily. I can bend over and tie my shoes!
