Well, since I'm officially a year behind now on our blog I'm going to start in December and move forward as well as try and fill in the last year as I go. December was full of lots of good things! Bailey is just left of center in the middle row. Bailey's ballet class and the class above her got to perform together during church and did a beautiful job. Here are a few pictures from their rehearsals. End and Bailey is right in front on the right.

Thomas, Becca, Bailey, and Cassia. Monday, September 30, 2013. I'm excited to knock out the rest of September in one post-it's a little long though! We headed out to Alumni Park the evening before September 11th to walk through the flag memorial Pepperdine puts up each year. There is a flag for everyone who was lost on 9/11. It's a humbling experience every time. Bailey ran with abandon to the flags. On September 11th, Bailey started preschool at Malibu Presbyterian Nursery School! These two LOVE music!

Thomas, Becca, Bailey, and Cassia. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. New Year's Eve Day. Grandpa decided to get all of the guys in the family fun toys for Christmas. One of the ones he gave Thomas a rocket to build and blast off! We took it down to the law school parking lot to try it out. A little baking soda and some vinegar. Bailey was excited to help! After our rocket fun, we headed to the beach! It was such a beautiful day! Right into the water they went! We found a pretty good sized crab. Beaver Creek, CO.

Thomas, Becca, Bailey, and Cassia. Thursday, October 31, 2013. Bailey was excited for Halloween and got to celebrate with a parade at preschool. She marched around with her new friend, Katie. After the parade we sang Happy Birthday to Mel Gibson's daughter, Lucia, and they had cupcakes for everyone! Thomas, Becca, Bailey, and Cassia. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Beaver Creek, CO. We were so graciously invited to join Jenny's family for a Christmas trip to Colorado. We flew into Denver on December 21 and then drove to Beaver Creek. We got to stay in this amazing house that had plenty of room for all 19 of us! We ate yummy Blue Moose pizza for dinner and Thomas took Bailey to get her skis fitted for ski school the next day. We were up bright and early to take the big kids to ski school. Hands up, Bailey!

Thomas, Becca, Bailey, and Cassia. Friday, November 30, 2012. We were excited that Grandpa came to meet Cassia a few days after Thanksgiving. He was here for 24 hours and we enjoyed getting to see him! Cassia wasted no time in taking a nap with Grandpa! After going to Paradise Cove for a yummy dinner, we pulled out the Christmas boxes and Bailey loved unwrapping all of the ornaments! She laid them all out on the couch and then helped put them on the tree. We love you, Grandpa! Thomas, Becca, and Bailey.

Bailey took this picture of Thomas on a Saturday morning while he was doing yard work. I'm not quite sure why I love this picture, but maybe it's because I love this man and the fact that he's willing to get his hands dirty and works so hard to provide for our family. I love you so much, Thomas! What do I love to do? Hanging out together is what we do best!

Life at the Denney house. Monday, November 7, 2011. Haley wanted Lady bug cupcakes for her birthday. I googled it, combined a few ideas and this is what I came up with (Way better than the ones I tried to do for her first birthday! I think they turned out pretty cute. The adults preferred to eat the ones without the red sugar sprinkles but the kids loved them! Haley's friend Campbell came over to play and eat cake. One of Campbell's brothers came to play with Jacob. These boys love to put on costumes!

Life at the Denney house. Saturday, April 14, 2012. November and Early December 2011. Jacob being a big helper! We went and cut a real tree for Christmas. Jacob and Daddy setting it up. I think all the leaves are my least favorite part of fall but one of the kids favorites! The first grades put on a little Christmas program. Jacob had a speaking part! He was Elf 1. Life at the Denney house. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Reunion (end of July). The end of July we headed to the mountains for the Willie and Lonetta Denney reunion. Jason Emmily and Jasper, you were VERY missed! Haley and Kamber getting the mud off their shoes. Nathan and truck/car/anything with wheels that might say vroom is like Peanut and Jelly.you don't get one with out the other! This is what Haley would have done the entire time if we would've let her. She is such a little mommy. Once Upon a Time.
