What it’s Like to have a Colostomy. I just can’t decide about a reversal of my colostomy. The surgeon says that the surgery for reversal will be just as serious as the second one I had in December — the same incision, the same type of surgery to remove sections of colon, PLUS the closure of the stoma site.
