Laquo; Previous Post. Halley mentions that the condoms Scarlett gives her look like hotel room mints? That’s a pretty stupid simile, it seems forced, like the author is trying to make Halley more naive and poke fun at sex. But they don’t even really look like that, so fail. Then I got to my favorite part of the book(I still don’t like it but I like this…). It just sounds so pretty. (Dessen 233). Is it over yet?
