This year I had the opportunity to hunt Montana as a resident. I only had the last part of the hunt to get out so I really hunted hard and spent a lot of time going over maps! The last day of the hunt I spotted this buck at 500 yards out and decided he was a shooter. I was able to stalk in to 375 yards and was lucky enough to make a great shot and put him right down. I am so excited for next year! Went out this evening and was able to capture some shots of some bucks before dark. Fish and Game Sites.
