Pyrrha's Musings :: Problems with D's dance school
http://pyrrha17.livejournal.com/98370.html

I'm angry with them and I don't know any more if I'm thinking straight because I'm so mad. When October rolled around and I'd heard nothing about the exam, I cornered the teacher and asked what was going on - she had no idea, and hadn't investigated it - only to find out the following week that enrollments for the exam were well and truly closed and she'd missed out.

As a birthday surprise. My office was being renovated and hence unusable for the latter part of the week, and Lee was away in London since the previous weekend on various tai chi courses and a conference, so rather than sit around at home I decided to go visiting! And then had to phone. And the kids got home...

Cache your sessions. Don't piss off your users - dormando. 07:14 pm August 9th, 2008. Cache your sessions. Don't piss off your users. I hope you're all enjoying the 1.2.6. Stable release of memcached. Don't want to hear no whining about it crashing! One of the most common questions in memcached land is the ever obnoxious "how do I put my sessions in memcached? Why why why. Well, I know why. The deal with sessions? Why does everyone want to jettison them from mysql/postgres/disk/whatever? Er, except maybe...
