Sunday, April 26, 2009. I'm not much of a blogger. But I LOVE to read blogs. Especially ones with children. I like blogs about medical issues (that people overcome-and sometimes not). I wonder if this makes me strange. I hope not. A lot of times I think I'm a pessimist, but in blog world I think I'm an eternal optimist. Does that make sense? I didn't think so. So Miss Lauren and I had hair appointments over the weekend, and Lauren decided the night before that she wanted to donate her hair again to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths, an organization that uses real hair to make wigs for kids undergoing cancer treatment. Sunday, April 12, 2009. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day! We woke up early to make it to the early service at church - our own, personal Easter miracle! We were so blessed by the service and music. After Sunday school, we headed to the Biltmore Estate for their egg hunt and lunch and ice cream. We ended the day with a wonderful visit from the Nanas and the Papas (they really should start their own band - it would be an awesome name! Here are a few pictures of our day. As many of you probably know Hunter and I have known each other since we were just babies in junior high. We dated on and off throughout high school and dated all throughout college. Hunter went to ACU and I went to Texas Tech which means we are going on our 5th year of a long distance relationship and have never been more ready to be married and in the same city for more than 3 months!
