I agree with your statement around the future of our societies. I think that as we progress, we will be more inviting to woman and their language.

Wednesday, November 12, 2008. My Standpoint as a Woman. I think it's interesting how this chapter focuses on the standpoint of women. As a woman, I think it is very interesting, but it's hard for me to fully relate to the chapter because I don't think every woman has a similar standpoint just because she is a woman. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Chapter 34 is quite an interesting chapter for me. Just the beginning alone really struck a chord with me because it made so much sense! The example to illustrate standpoint given by Harding in the beginning of the chapter really helps understand the concept of standpoint with the illusion of the bent stick, or what.
