Yesterday we woke early (relatively speaking) to be fed, packed and prepared for our day-long journey to our next stop – Gallon Jug farm, owned by Barry and Dixie Bowen. A few of the kids had had a touch of “Jaguar Paw’s revenge” overnight, but they were amazingly strong and got it all together for the trip – we are so proud of them! Brooks in Belize 2007. Sunday, March 11, 2007. Flying through the Rainforest! Our aerial trek this afternoon couldn’t have been more wonderful! We broke into 2 groups and had 2 sets of amazing guides – Jose and George, and Marcus and Cesar. Every student was a trooper, listening carefully and overcoming any misgivings to try it. Even as a sudden rainstorm drenched us, this group of optimists decided to be grateful for the cooling off and for a little additional speed on the zip line. Kiki in the caves.
