When I started the journey I thought taking a risk, opening up to people would be the hardest bit, but I’ve discovered it’s the risk of walking away and letting go. Real friends help you navigate life. So whens the last time you did a friend cull in real life? That may sound harsh so how about when did you last evaluate and look at the people in your life?

October 26, 2013. I AM a youth worker. Being a youth worker isn’t easy. It’s hard work. It’s unsociable hours. It’s cold nights on the street. It’s being called every name you could ever imagine. Its carrying that pool table into the hall. It’s being threatened. It’s hearing things that break your heart. It’s being a minibus driver. It’s being a fundraiser and budget holder. It’s being available for that early morning call, or text. It’s carrying endless amounts of equipment in your boot. It is worth it!
