A Day in the Life - The Continuing Adventures of Talos Woten

The Continuing Adventures of Talos Woten. Aka The Secret Ravassa Diaries. The Diverse Worlds of Kim E Lumbard. A Day in the Life. A Day in the Life. The Kim is in the details. This is the one Im looking to get:. Asked about what was going on in my life, I thought I'd post some snippets. I'm currently in NY, visiting friends and consulting for a long-standing client. I'm staying in Brooklyn and commuting daily into Manhattan. it's almost like I'm working! I had a long converation with George today about p...

The Continuing Adventures of Talos Woten. Aka The Secret Ravassa Diaries. The Diverse Worlds of Kim E Lumbard. And now. the future? And now. the future? So I'm in NY and looking forward to seeing you again. Soon I'm going to give you this journal as a gift (assuming, of course, that you haven't been reading it daily for months already ;-) and I've been thinking. what next? What do people think? Should I keep journaling? Is anyone even reading this? 7th-Aug-2006 05:17 am (UTC). I think that life is bliss.

Macroeconomics: The Numbers Racket - marknau

Macroeconomics: The Numbers Racket - marknau. March 12th, 2009. Macroeconomics: The Numbers Racket. How well off are we, in aggregate? It’s an impossibly complicated, possibly unanswerable, question. Let’s say you had omniscient power, and could instantly and unerringly comprehend all of the things that people were doing, how they felt about their lives and their experiences, the material possessions they have accumulated, the relationships they’ve formed. Even then, how do you score all that? A person w...

March 20th, 2008 - Postcards From My Psyche
http://weiskind.livejournal.com/2008/03/20
Postcards From My Psyche. March 20th, 2008. I'm doing the MS Walk! Mar 20th, 2008 at 11:55 AM. And I are doing the MS walk in LA on April 6th! Three years ago, my sister Caryn was diagnosed with MS. I've given money each year since then to the National MS Society, but this year I decided to think about it a little more, spend a little more time with it. Even though it's not the most efficient fundraising method possible, I'm doing the MS Walk. Would you donate a little bit to sponsor me?

BIL09: candid

BIL was awesome. I apologize to LA people I didn't get to hang out with - BIL literally sucked up every minute of my weekend - but you should have come to BIL anyway, so it's your own fault. I got to see. And I'm sure a bunch of other people with LJs that I just don't know about. Post a new comment. Comments allowed for friends only. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal. End-of-year thoughts - Having Fun
http://sfeley.livejournal.com/83338.html
Jan 5th, 2009 at 2:35 AM. Yes, so it's five days after New Year's. Your point? 2008, for the most part, sucked. It sucked. It sucked Dalmatians through a garden hose. Were it not for certain events and people, it would trap light within its event horizon. I lost two jobs. One was absolutely my fault. I deserved to get fired; I bought my boss lunch that day and thanked him. The other one wasn't, it was just a breakdown in the client/contractor relationship. But it led to my current gig. Better in some way...

Hella-skiing - The Mauitian Chronicles
http://mauitian.livejournal.com/18608.html
Hella-skiing - The Mauitian Chronicles. Apr 27th, 2008. I spent the last week heli-skiing in the Chugach mountains of Alaska, near Valdez. My friend Mark had called me up a month previously and asked if I wanted to go, offering to pay my way in exchange for talking physics with him. I think I thought it over for about a tenth of a second before saying yes. This was definitely among the more crazy things I've done in my life. It was also very, very beautiful. Nothing but mountains for hundreds of miles.
